Join the crew

Come aboard.

Every generation gets one or two chances to open a genuinely new frontier. We believe autonomous energy ships will open the 71% of this planet to ocean compute. We are building the crew that will do it.

Mission profile

What we build

One machine, four disciplines that rarely share a deck. Naval engineering delivers a hull built for the winter North Atlantic. Autonomy and weather routing position it weeks ahead. Energy systems combine a reinforced turbine, rotor sails, solar, and storage into a stable megawatt bus. Marinized computing consumes that power right at the source. The breakthrough is making them work as one.

How we work

01

Ship real machines

Steel, power electronics and sea trials. Slideware does not float.

02

Small crew, full ownership

You own a system end to end, from specification to the quay.

03

The sea keeps us honest

The ocean tests every assumption. We measure, we publish, we correct.

Chief Business Officer

ManagementNantes, FranceFull-time

We are hiring a Chief Business Officer to build and own the commercial engine of the world's first offshore zero-carbon compute fleet, a ground-floor executive, late co-founder role.

Job description (PDF) — Chief Business Officer

Land-based data center expansion is hitting a hard wall: grid connection queues, freshwater scarcity, community opposition. Far offshore, the wind blows stronger and steadier than anywhere on land and the ocean itself becomes the cooling sink. The result: zero grid wait times, zero freshwater consumption, and unmatched carbon intensity for the most power-hungry workloads of the AI decade. Your mission: turn this physical advantage into a commercial category. You will define the go-to-market for offshore compute capacity, structure innovative offers tailored to variable, wind-backed power profiles — fault-tolerant training batches, asynchronous inference, dynamic pricing, zero-carbon AI clouds and close strategic off-take agreements with Neocloud providers, AI labs, CSPs and Tier-1 HPC operators. You will be the authoritative interface between client C-levels and marine engineering, translating workload requirements into onboard architecture. You know the decision-makers across the Neocloud ecosystem, and the deal is your natural habitat. Sound like you? Let's talk.

Algorithms & Scientific Computing Engineer

EngineeringNantes, FranceFull-time

Own the algorithms that route our autonomous wind-powered energy ships. Solve stochastic optimization problems under uncertainty, and prove your models at sea rather than on slides.

Job description (PDF) — Algorithms & Scientific Computing Engineer

Your responsibilities: You own the algorithms for routing and mission optimization. You arbitrate heading, speed, and power production against uncertain meteorological forecasts. Additionally, you own the state observers and ensure the coherence of our mathematical models. Your profile: Bringing 5 to 10 years of experience in scientific computing, you possess a strong pragmatic and maritime sense. You know the ocean is a harsh environment that ruthlessly exposes the gap between theory and practice. We need a grounded engineer, not an ivory-tower theoretician: someone who builds resilient routing policies rather than fixed routes, and who manages raw uncertainty rather than simple expected values. Your mathematics must survive contact with the real world, and you will measure their performance at sea, not on slides

010

Energy & Electrical Architecture Engineer

EngineeringNantes, FranceFull-time

Own the complete electrical architecture of our wind-powered ships. We need a hands-on engineer who designs, commissions, provokes faults on purpose, and measures the physical results.

Job description (PDF) — Energy & Electrical Architecture Engineer

Your responsibilities: You own the complete electrical architecture of our ships, from the wind turbine generator to the high-voltage DC distribution, battery storage, and controllable computing load. You own protection coordination, the neutral regime, and the test benches required to physically validate the entire chain. Your profile: With 5 to 10 years in electrical engineering or power electronics, you have hands-on experience energizing something you designed and dealing with what happens next. We are looking for a highly pragmatic engineer: you will design the cabinet, commission it, provoke a fault in it on purpose, and measure which protection opened first. Whether your background is in marine, wind, EVs, or general industry, what matters is that you instrument, measure, and conclude from real hardware rather than just normative knowledge.

011

Control Systems Architect

EngineeringNantes, FranceFull-time

Architect the control system of a wind-powered ship with highly coupled variables. Own a completely new system, from mathematical models down to generated embedded production code.

Job description (PDF) — Control Systems Architect

Your responsibilities: You own the strict coherence between what the model says, what the code does, and what the measurement shows. You handle the decomposition into time-scaled loops—from fast electrical cycles to multi-day mission layers—alongside state observation and energy management. Your profile: Bringing over 10 years of experience on real physical systems, you master production code generation (such as Embedded Coder). You have definitively tuned control loops on actual hardware, as simulation alone is not enough here. If you are drawn to coupled variables and negatively damped modes, and want your code to actually fly a physical ship at sea, this role is for you.

013

Industrialization Engineer

EngineeringNantes - FRFull-time

Scale our bold trimaran concept into a mass-produced fleet! Define our industrial strategy, embed manufacturing into the design phase, and invent the maintenance infrastructure for our autonomous ships.

Job description (PDF) — Industrialization Engineer

At CIRCEO, we harvest the wind with energy ships to deliver low-carbon electricity. As our Industrialization Engineer, your mission is to turn a technical challenge into a mass-produced product: transitioning from a demonstrator to the large-scale production of our autonomous fleet. Your challenge is to embed manufacturing and maintainability constraints right from the design phase of our full-scale ship. From standardization to cost ownership, you will define our industrial strategy: shipyards selection, supply chain management, all the way to sizing our future dedicated production facility. Starting from a blank page, you will invent the maintenance infrastructure for these unmanned vessels from scratch. Writing the rules as you go, you will enforce your industrial convictions with pragmatism, working shoulder-to-shoulder with a tight-knit crew. Have you mastered the realities of the marine industry and serial production? Welcome aboard!
